Responsibilities
Develop and optimize centerline settings, machine setpoints, and operating parameters
Lead process improvement initiatives across changeovers, sanitation, tooling, and workflows
Identify inefficiencies and support new process development
Evaluate and recommend cost-reduction, automation, and capital improvement opportunities
Improve equipment reliability through performance data analysis, scrap reduction, and spare parts availability
Support Commissioning, Validation, and Startup (CVS) activities for capital projects
Collaborate with Maintenance to enhance preventive maintenance programs, spare parts planning, and overall asset health
Analyze CMMS (M+) work order data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
Establish documentation standards for vendors and contractors to support training and operational readiness
Serve as the primary liaison for OEMs, coordinating service visits and providing on-site support
Lead initiatives to increase uptime, reduce failures, and minimize unplanned downtime
Coach and develop Operational Process Leads and cross-functional teams
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BS in Industrial Engineering or a related field
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution
2–5 years of manufacturing experience developing and writing procedures with cross-functional teams
Proficiency with SAP, Adobe Acrobat Writer, PLCs, AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD tools, and shop floor systems
Manufacturing experience required
Strong knowledge of plant operations, packaging, and processing equipment
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, multitask, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred
TPM experience preferred
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools and principles preferred
food industry experience preferred
