Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipeline architectures
Assemble and manage large, complex datasets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
Identify and implement process improvements such as automation, data delivery optimization, and infrastructure scalability enhancements
Develop and support ETL/ELT frameworks for data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse source systems
Build analytical tools and data models that support insights related to customer behavior, operational efficiencies, and key business metrics
Partner with Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to resolve data-related technical issues and support infrastructure needs
Define project scope, milestones, phases, and deliverables for client data initiatives
Execute project plans, monitor progress, remove obstacles, and recommend next steps
Delegate and coordinate tasks across project teams as needed
Develop and deliver training, documentation, and adoption materials for stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Advanced SQL expertise with hands-on experience working with relational databases and various data systems
Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets
Proficiency in performing root cause analysis across both data and processes to identify insights and solution opportunities
Strong analytical abilities with experience handling structured and unstructured datasets
Experience building processes for data transformation, metadata management, workload orchestration, and dependencies
Proven history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large or disparate datasets
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal and external business partners
Interest in developing data literacy and analytics capabilities across client teams
Curiosity, creativity, and a mindset geared toward questioning assumptions and exploring new approaches
Availability to travel as needed to support client engagements
Preferred
Experience with Databricks, dbt, or modern cloud data platforms
