Business Development Representative

Litmas AI is a fast-growing legal technology company that creates specialized AI workflows for litigation. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to manage inbound leads, ensure follow-up, and create outbound opportunities, directly impacting revenue and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

Ensure no qualified inbound lead goes cold due to lack of follow up
Own all assigned inbound leads from first response to next step
Track every interaction accurately in HubSpot
Manage prospects with pending contracts and verbal approvals
Follow up persistently to unblock stalled deals and close loops
Coordinate with sales, legal, and operations to resolve contract questions
Push deals to signature or disqualification quickly
Recover deals that are stuck due to timing, indecision, or inertia
Create your own outbound pipeline targeting litigation firms
Prospect solo attorneys, small firms, and mid sized firms
Run outbound email, call, and LinkedIn outreach using provided tools
Book qualified meetings and hand off cleanly to sales when appropriate
Consistently add net new opportunities to the pipeline every week
Maintain clean, accurate data in HubSpot at all times
Log calls, emails, notes, and next steps without exception
Follow defined lead stages, qualification criteria, and handoff rules
Surface insights from the field to sales, operations, and marketing

Qualification

Required

Experience in BDR, SDR, or inside sales roles
Strong phone and written communication skills
Comfort speaking with attorneys, partners, and firm owners
Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM
High follow through, persistence, and ownership mentality
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Comfort operating in a fast changing early stage start-up

Preferred

Experience selling SaaS or legal technology
Experience selling to attorneys or professional services firms
Outbound prospecting experience using tools like Apollo
