Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and product descriptions to determine setups, tooling, and process requirements for EDM operations
Set up and operate RAM (sinker) EDM equipment to produce parts to specification
Modify G & M codes to improve efficiency and part quality
Inspect/verify part conformance using gaging; document results as needed
Remove finish marks and perform fitting/assembly tasks, such as punches into punch
Communicate setups to other personnel to ensure consistent results
