They are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their financial accounting team, focusing on financial reporting, project accounting, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Taking pride in the value-add associated with the quarterly and annual financial reporting process, including the consolidation of multiple legal entities - and back end analysis
Working closely with - and directly for - the Director of Accounting as you take on increasing ownership and deeper involvement in financial reporting, post-close analysis, budget vs. actual analysis, revenue analysis and projections, ad hoc reporting, and management-level strategic planning discussions
A significant portion of your time will be spent on challenging, engaging, and rewarding project work including, but not limited to: Project accounting, Process improvement initiatives, account analysis, reconciliations, fixed assets, and analytical job costing responsibilities
Qualification
Required
1–3 years in private industry or public accounting
Solid accounting foundation
Experience with financial reporting processes
Ability to perform back end analysis
Experience with budget vs. actual analysis
Experience with revenue analysis and projections
Ability to perform ad hoc reporting
Involvement in management-level strategic planning discussions
Experience with project accounting
Experience with process improvement initiatives
Ability to perform account analysis and reconciliations
Experience with fixed assets
Analytical job costing responsibilities
Operationally minded
