Responsibilities

Manage an established team of five software engineers and security engineers. Be responsible for their coaching, work management, career development and other people management responsibilities

Define and execute the team's outlook and roadmap for securing Google's third-party dependencies

Grow technical talent to develop technically innovative solutions to secure our Open Source Software (OSS) dependencies

Build strong partnerships and collaboration roadmaps with partner teams in Google's software supply chain Integrity program, as well as with industry and academia

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, or Go

3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management)

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role

2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization

Experience in supply chain security issues, vulnerability management, software composition analysis, or related fields
