The Accountant II or Senior Accountant role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting, supporting core accounting functions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Assist with month-end close processes, including preparation and review of financial statements

Manage accruals and prepaids, ensuring accurate recording and timely adjustments

Prepare and post journal entries with complete and well-supported documentation

Perform account reconciliations, investigating variances and resolving discrepancies

Conduct departmental and operational analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives

Apply and maintain ASC 606 revenue recognition principles, including management of the revenue recognition subledger

Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights

Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation

Maintain and update accounting records, systems, and supporting schedules

Contribute to special projects, system enhancements, and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPACPA-eligibleProgressive accounting experienceERP accounting systemsMicrosoft Excel proficiencyASC 606 knowledgeAnalytical skillsAttention to detailCommunication skillsProblem-solving skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2–5 years of progressive accounting experience

Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

CPA or CPA-eligible status

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

CPA or CPA-eligible status

Preferred

Experience working with ERP and enterprise accounting systems

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools

Experience researching and implementing accounting standards

Hands-on application of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition)
