Responsibilities
Design and perform independent research in innate immunity and inflammation
Collaborate with other researchers and laboratory staff on ongoing projects
Analyze and interpret experimental data and prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
Maintain detailed and accurate records of experiments and procedures
Present research findings at internal meetings, seminars, and scientific conferences
Stay current with relevant scientific literature and advancements in the field
Qualification
Required
PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or Cancer Biology
Strong experience with cell culture and molecular biology techniques, including DNA and RNA purification, cloning, qPCR, DNA and siRNA transfection protocols, ELISA, Western Blot, immuno-precipitation, post-translational regulation, cell signaling, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry
Experience with animal experiments and a strong understanding of immunology
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently
Ability to convey information effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
Requires successful completion of a background check; selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen
