Responsibilities
Assist QAD in implementing its Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) software
Provide professional services to our customers for the implementation of our FTZ software in large manufacturing and distribution companies
Working directly with our customer's compliance and technical teams to map data from the customers systems into QAD FTZ
Validate and test data feeds
Work with the customers to develop process flows and procedures for their unique FTZ processing needs
Work closely with the customer's FTZ consultant
Assist and support during the implementation process
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience implementing or operating FTZs
First-hand understanding of foreign-trade zone operations, and related processes
Ability to work on multiple projects at once and deliver on-time results
Have a working knowledge of logistics activities including import activities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The individual should be self motivated and be capable of working as part of a team, or alone, with little supervision
In-Depth experience using spreadsheets and Microsoft Word or Google Docs
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Understanding of XML file structure and ability to validate data format
Understanding of flat-files and ability to validate data format
Understanding of electronic communication methods
Preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus
Understanding of programming languages and methodologies is a plus
Experience implementing FTZ systems
Experience operating FTZ systems
Experience with Import and Export systems, compliance systems, Global Trade Management (GTM)
Experience implementing ERP or WMS systems
Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts
Experience implementing, data-mapping, integrating is a plus
