Responsibilities
Assist in evaluating resident recreational needs
Promote an meaningful and sensory stimulating environment to promote engagement for each resident
Leads and/or participates in individual and group activities and programs
Maintains records of activities and attendance
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with standards set out in Affinity Healthcare's Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, all federal and state laws and applicable professional standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of activity program development
Skills in the arts including music, art, crafts
Skills in physical activity
Enjoys working with those with physical and emotional disabilities
Preferred
BS in Recreation preferred but not required
Prior experience with traumatic brain injury preferred but not required
