Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records for clients, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
Ensure adherence to relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations, staying updated on changes and implementing necessary adjustments
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and improve accuracy through automation and best practices
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic financial advice to support their growth and success

Required

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of experience within client accounting services in a public accounting firm
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality

Preferred

CPA preferred
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Yardi, Bill.com, NetSuite, Expensify and other accounting software preferred
