Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, calibrate, and modify patient care medical devices
Perform quality assurance inspections following applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer guidelines
Execute vendor-recommended preventive maintenance programs
Maintain accurate service, calibration, and compliance documentation
Manage cost-effective inventory of replacement parts and materials
Assist in training clinical staff on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance
Recommend outside service providers when required
Qualification
Required
Associate of Science degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology
Minimum 3 years of biomedical engineering or medical equipment experience
Strong knowledge of medical device maintenance and safety standards
