Bed Management Senior Business Operations Analyst
The Ohio State University is seeking a Bed Management Senior Business Operations Analyst to work under the Business Operations Manager for Bed Management. This role involves assessing and managing the needs of all beds within the health system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and overseeing quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities
Assess and manage needs of all beds within New University Hospital, Ross Heart Hospital, UH Rhodes, UH Doan, and UH Pavilion
Maintain compliance with manufacturers’ instruction for use (MIFU) and regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission
Work with units to locate beds, when needed, using the RTLS tracking system
Help create visual management of all beds in the health system
Partner with Inpatient units to address routine needs
Ensure the safety and effectiveness of beds working with clinical units and the bed shop to address and assess maintenance requests
Oversee the quality assurance processes for the ordering of parts and equipment for beds, stretchers and mattresses
Guide processes surrounding bed movement, maintaining records, and compliance with flow and egress
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to inventory control, inspection, audits and ordering
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4 years of relevant experience required
Preferred
Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable
4-8 years of relevant experience preferred
