Responsibilities
Define and own the AI and Data Product Roadmap aligned to overall product and market strategy at FEI
Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases across HHS workflows
Translate business and policy into clear, actionable product requirements for data and AI solutions
Serve as Product Owner for AI and data initiatives, managing intake, discovery, prioritization, and delivery
Develop PRDs, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for analytics dashboards, data services, and AI features
Partner with engineering, architecture, and data teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and production-ready
Balance innovation with feasibility, ensuring AI solutions are explainable, auditable, and operationally viable
Work closely with SMEs to understand business problems and evaluate AI fit solutions
Identify data quality, completeness, and readiness gaps impacting analytics and AI initiatives
Ensure AI and analytics initiatives comply with HHS guidance and reporting requirements
Support auditability, transparency, and explainability for AI-driven insights
Act as a trusted advisor to state agencies, program leadership, and internal executives on AI and data strategy
Support demos, proposals, and RFP responses by clearly articulating AI value propositions and roadmaps
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in product management, with 3+ years focused on data products, analytics, or AI initiatives
Direct experience with healthcare preferably in BH, LTSS, HCBS, Medicaid, or Health & Human Services systems
Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data, analytics platforms, and modern data architectures
Proven ability to translate complex policy and operational requirements into scalable product solutions
Experience working in regulated environments with strong compliance and governance requirements
Preferred
Experience with AI/ML use cases in government or healthcare (e.g., predictive analytics, NLP, risk scoring)
Familiarity with platforms such as AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker), Snowflake, Power BI, QuickSight, or similar
Experience supporting CMS certification, federal reporting, or state Medicaid system modernization initiatives
Background in program integrity, quality management, or outcomes measurement in HHS programs
