Responsibilities

Develop detailed drawings and layouts for service projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and service technicians to translate technical requirements into practical designs
Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Provide timely design updates and documentation to keep projects on schedule and within scope
Utilize CAD software and other design tools to produce high-quality drawings and models that meet project needs
Incorporate applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements into all designs
Recommend design enhancements and process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce errors

Required

Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience
3+ years of design experience in an industrial or technical environment, preferably supporting service or maintenance projects
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems is a plus
