Responsibilities

Responsible for preparation of all SouthStar Retail reporting, including, but not limited to: Customer operations, Call Center data analysis, customer counts, revenue, cost of goods, gains & losses; credit and collections etc
Maintaining and management of pricing structures and rate codes for all products across the company’s expanded markets, ensuring accuracy for specific date ranges and alignment with business objectives
Communicating and collaboration of all pricing and rate code changes with local distribution companies (LDCs) and ensuring timely posting and compliance with regulatory and market requirements
Updating and validation of pricing and rate code information in to internal systems, guaranteeing data integrity and availability for operational, reporting, and customer-facing processes
Performs analysis and reporting associated with the business unit metrics, such as revenue, cost of goods and gross margins. Analysis is composed generally of multiple parts of information
Take lead role in defining data standards and processes across all markets
Develop business modeling and ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business objectives
Business Intelligence reporting using tools such as: Power BI, etc
Makes design modifications and enhancements to the Company’s revenue/cost models
Manages the receipt of customer data from the company’s multiple data sources
Analyzes data, creates summary reporting and performs sensitivity analysis to support the decision making of senior management and other departments in the company
Creates and implements visual and computer-based analyses for the business to self-service data and information
Provides subject matter expertise-level development & support in Power BI analysis
Leverages data warehouses, transact systems to assist the business in understanding its data and how to best utilize data from various systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, engineering, computer science, information systems or related fields
7+ years' data analysis experience
Demonstrated research, data mining, and analytics experience
Proficiency with SQL, Python, AI, GenAI, Alteryx, Azure, Data Bricks, RPA tools
Advanced proficiency with analytics software and technical tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power-BI)
Statistical and forecasting experience utilizing statistical software
Advanced presentation skills
Demonstrated track record of business model creation and management
Leadership acumen and experience
Strong technical proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation
Experience with relational database technologies
Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and advanced analytics tools (e.g., Python, R)
Ability to analyze situations, evaluate evidence, and synthesize information to arrive at logical conclusions
Ability to break down complex challenges and find effective solutions
Understanding and improving workflows and processes
Ability to create charts, graphs, and infographics
Exhibit high level of personal responsibility and can independently set priorities of tasks amongst multiple assignments
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments along with excellent organization and time management skills
Can clearly convey findings, requirements, and recommendations to stakeholders and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Ability to create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate ideas and insights
Experience and understanding of risk management, internal controls, and governance
Experience in forecasting, financial planning and analysis
Compliance and regulatory understanding
Experience with business operations, market trends, and strategic objectives
Ability to evaluate the financial viability of proposed ideas and solutions and draw conclusions
Effective project management skills, including time management and work plan development
Ability to adapt as conditions warrant
Ability to move issues forward to resolution
