Responsibilities
Inspect electrical installations (power distribution, lighting, grounding, low-voltage, fire alarm, and controls) to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, NEC, and local codes
Perform quality control inspections at various stages of construction and document findings
Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship meet contract requirements
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
Review submittals, RFIs, and installation methods for quality compliance
Witness and document electrical testing, commissioning, and energization activities
Maintain QA/QC logs, inspection reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation
Support owner, engineer, and AHJ inspections as needed
Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the jobsite
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in electrical construction or electrical quality control
Strong working knowledge of NEC, electrical standards, and construction best practices
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schedules
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Proficient with tablets, inspection software, and Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience with testing procedures (megger, continuity, grounding, etc.)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
