Responsibilities
Quickly and efficiently ensure machine is stocked with correct components to ensure production levels are maintained
Machine set-up; diagnose problems and adjust accordingly
Assist Production Lead and Supervisor in training and provide feedback on operator performance. Provide guidance, assistance, support, mentorship, and clarity to employees working on their specific line
Quickly and efficiently feed and pack correct components and assemblies into and out of machine
Will work as part of an assembly line to ensure completion of the process, in which case must communicate with other team members on the production line to ensure speed and accuracy to meet established metrics
Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem. Identify friction points in the production plan and provide the Team Leader with a course of action to assist in the production of all orders
Provide maintenance requests to Team Leaders, coordinate with, and support the maintenance team, and confirm preventative maintenance is done on equipment
Maintain an efficient and orderly production room while following all company and facility safety policies, procedures, and guidelines
Immediately report any potentially hazardous situations or unsafe behaviors
Accurately record daily production with limited use of company ERP system
Support branch metrics to drive customer thrill
Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience required
Ability to operate stand-up forklifts highly recommended
Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and feedback to other employees
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to be proactive in solving problems with high attention to detail
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and ability to learn
Has a positive attitude and contributes to a positive team culture
Self-motivated; reliable, with strong initiative and results orientation
Models safe work practices
Basic computer literacy
Ability to drive accountability and uphold production leadership driven standards
Preferred
Prefer 1-3 years' experience operating machinery
