Benefits Director
Frazer Jones is seeking a Benefits Director who will lead the strategy, design, administration, and optimization of all employee benefit programs. This role focuses on ensuring competitive and compliant offerings while partnering with various departments to enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a long‑term benefits strategy that supports talent attraction, retention, and organizational culture
Evaluate and enhance health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs to ensure competitiveness and cost efficiency
Ensure all benefit plans comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and IRS requirements
Lead RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships with carriers, brokers, and third‑party administrators
Oversee day‑to‑day administration, including enrollment, eligibility, billing, and issue resolution
Use metrics, claims data, and benchmarking to drive decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
Create clear, engaging communication plans to help employees understand and maximize their benefits
Manage and mentor benefits staff, fostering a high‑performing, service‑oriented team
Partner with HR, Payroll, Legal, and Finance to ensure seamless integration of benefits with broader people strategies
Lead annual open enrollment, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Qualification
Required
Experience in leading the strategy, design, administration, and optimization of employee benefit programs
