Responsibilities
Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot network backbone infrastructure
Support NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, NSANet, and Tier 1 networks
Maintain secure and non-secure transmission systems including fiber and copper media
Ensure telecom rooms meet engineering, safety, and operational standards
Manage routing and switching assets and maintain accurate configuration documentation
Configure and sustain voice systems and VoIP solutions
Design, install, document, and maintain cabling and protected distribution systems
Support VTC systems, conference room networks, and public address systems
Document all network changes and infrastructure modifications
Lead role provides task oversight and weekly reporting to Government leadership
Qualification
Required
Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
U.S. Citizenship required
Active TS/SCI eligibility required
Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory; Microsoft Server 2008, or higher; proficiency in VMWare 5.1 or higher and VSphere Administration
Networks proficiency in Cisco Network Routers and switches, advanced networking principles (routing, switching, OSI Reference Model), Air Force network configuration and operation
DoD 8570 / 8140 compliant
IAT Level II (Security+ CE preferred), current and verifiable
