Alside is a leading distributor of exterior building products, committed to continuous improvement and customer experience. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and close new business opportunities in the building remodel and new construction markets, focusing on customer acquisition and building a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

Proactively identify and target new repair, remodel and new construction business opportunities by developing and executing strategies for prospecting and cold outreach (calls, emails, networking, events)
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through close
Conduct virtual or in-person presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Director/Sales Manager, Branch Manager, and local supply center teams) to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers
Meet or exceed sales targets
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and activity reports
Stay informed and report market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments

Required

Successful sales history with a minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience
Proven track record of generating new business and consistently meeting/exceeding quotas
Self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized, customer-focused
Proven experience in new business selling and upselling
Technical Acumen - High comfort level with daily computer use, data entry, and navigating various technical environments (Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and practical experience with Salesforce)

Preferred

Experience within the building materials industry is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Bilingual candidates will be highly considered for this position!
