Operations and Business Systems Manager
Select Search Group has partnered with our client in the construction industry who is seeking an Operations and Business Systems Manager to lead operations execution, business systems implementation, and process improvement initiatives across the company. This role is ideal for an execution-driven operations leader with experience in construction operations, ERP systems, project management, and cross-functional process improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end operations management, business systems, and process improvement initiatives
Own project planning, implementation, timelines, and accountability across teams and vendors
Drive ERP and construction management system evaluation, implementation, and adoption
Support systems tied to estimating, project management, procurement, field operations, safety, and finance
Translate operational requirements into scalable workflows and standardized processes
Manage change management, training, and user adoption for new systems and tools
Develop SOPs, process maps, and operational playbooks
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Project Management, Estimating, Finance, HR, and Safety
Provide leadership with visibility into initiative status, risks, and performance outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Information Systems, or Operations
5–10 years of experience in construction operations, business systems, project management, or process improvement
Experience with ERP systems, construction management platforms, estimating software, or project controls
Strong background in operations execution, systems implementation, and change management
Highly organized, execution-focused leader with strong communication skills
