Responsibilities
This position is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and operating complex computer systems, networks, applications and/or distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment
They are also responsible for analyzing first and second level problems for all systems (according to the service agreements), resolving and routing as appropriate, supporting the Systems Management Processes specific to the 300mm client requirements
The role would require the person to be highly skilled in Linux, Windows, and Unix Server Operations and have some application knowledge
Role would require Level 2 problem determination skills for server and applications, knowledge of hardware installs, rack installs, operating system install knowledge, and FAB application knowledge
Qualification
Required
Monitoring, controlling, and operating complex computer systems, networks, applications and/or distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment
Analyzing first and second level problems for all systems according to the service agreements
Resolving and routing problems as appropriate
Supporting the Systems Management Processes specific to the 300mm client requirements
Highly skilled in Linux, Windows, and Unix Server Operations
Some application knowledge
Level 2 problem determination skills for server and applications
Knowledge of hardware installs
Rack installs
Operating system install knowledge
FAB application knowledge
Hands on server operations skills and support
Preferred
Skills comparable to assisting a Systems Administrator
