Senior Drupal Platform Engineer
Peak Performers is partnering with a Texas State Agency to find a remote Senior Drupal Platform Engineer responsible for maintaining the agency's web application. The role involves diagnosing issues in custom Drupal modules, managing code repositories, and ensuring web application performance.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve issues in custom Drupal modules and application code
Manage Acquia code repository branches and merging master and trigger deployment pipelines
Work with Drupal Core for updates, patches, and compatibility checks
Monitor web application performance
Troubleshooting import and export data issues
Unpublishing and republishing nodes
Backing up databases and performing rollback procedures
Modify, compile, and troubleshoot CSS and JavaScript for front-end enhancements and bug fixes
Investigate and resolve issues related to CSV uploads and syncing JSON field values to node-based structures
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of ad hoc requests
Qualification
Required
8+ years of strong knowledge of Drupal 10 architecture, custom module development, and custom themes
Solid understanding of and experience coding with PHP object oriented programming, SQL, CSS, JS, AJAX
8+ years of experience with Acquia Cloud, code repository management, and deployment workflows
Proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
Ability to monitor alerts and performance through the Acquia Environment and New Relic
Ability to troubleshoot CSV import processes and JSON data synchronization
Familiarity with Git branching strategies and code review best practices
Preferred
Experience with Drush, Composer, and configuration management in Drupal preferred
Familiarity with PHP 8.3 and MySQL8 for backend troubleshooting preferred
