Warehouse Technician

Responsibilities
Clear crane, monorail conveyor, trolley and elevator faults as needed
Clear images and monitor Single Point of Contact(SPOC) and help maintain inventory accuracy
Monitor all systems and provide feedback on equipment showing persistent issues to drive errors out of the system
Work closely with maintenance and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) Lead to identify issues that need immediate attention
Escalate any system issues as they occur in the cranes, trollies, vertical lifts, P&D’s, labelers, photoeyes, shipping fingers, and conveyors
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures)
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Must be able to perform physical job duties with or without reasonable accommodation: bending, kneeling, lifting 50 pounds, climbing, crawling, and twisting
Ability to work in elevated areas(4 feet or above)
Must be able to read/write English
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic maintenance skills
Basic computer skills
Ability work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment
Preferred
Inventory systems knowledge
Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
Previous experience operating forklift
Basic mechanical experience
Prior experience in production related work
