Responsibilities
Plan, document, coordinate, and execute, environmental exposure tests on high-technology, high-value hardware produced for the defense industry
Support the documentation and investigation of anomalies and failures
Advise new programs on their qualification test planning
This position requires occasional weekends, off-shift, and overtime work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Preferred
Experience with environmental testing. (Vibration, Thermal, Thermal Vacuum)
Ability to read and follow written procedures and processes and work with the engineering leadership team to resolve issues
Strong technical writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
People management/leadership skills. Candidate will work closely with Environmental Test Technicians to accomplish testing
Experience with avionics or space hardware test
Experience performing environmental testing per MIL-STD-810
Experience with software development (MATLAB, VBA, Python, etc.)
