This role is critical to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient power plant operations, where the operator will monitor and operate plant systems, respond to alarms, and support startup and shutdown activities.

Responsibilities
Monitor and operate power plant systems from the control room
Respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions
Support plant startup and shutdown activities
Follow all health and safety procedures, including permit to work and lock out tag out
Complete daily operating logs and performance reports accurately
Coordinate with on site operations and maintenance teams
Support maintenance activities and equipment isolation when required
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Control Room Operator or in a similar power generation role
Strong knowledge of combustion/steam turbine operations, water chemistry, and process controls
Background in power generation operations required
Ability to read basic process and control diagrams
Strong safety awareness and operational discipline
Willingness to work twelve hour rotating shifts
Strong communication skills and team mindset
Preferred
Experience with combined cycle or gas turbine plants
