Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and troubleshooting
Develop and maintain advanced Shell Scripting (Bash/PowerShell) for automation, deployment pipelines, and system monitoring
Design, deploy, and scale AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Implement DevOps best practices: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring (CloudWatch/Prometheus)
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of hybrid cloud environments
Rapidly troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Windows Administration (Server 2016+, Hyper-V/VMware)
Expert-level Shell Scripting proficiency for automation tasks
Hands-on AWS experience (certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer strongly preferred)
Proven DevOps experience with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in agile environments
Local to Austin, TX (or willing to relocate immediately)
Preferred
Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK Stack)
Scripting in Python or other languages for AWS automation
Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA)
