Responsibilities

Prepare and file SEC reports, including Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and XBRL
Draft and review financial statements, MD&A, and business descriptions
Manage reporting calendars to align internal stakeholders and external deadlines
Oversee tools and systems used for SEC reporting, including Dfin and EDGAR interfaces
Research, interpret, and apply complex GAAP and SEC guidance to new, unusual, or non‑routine transactions
Evaluate the impact of new accounting and regulatory pronouncements on the Bank’s financial reporting
Develop and support the implementation of new accounting standards and internal policies as needed
Review existing accounting policies for consistency, compliance, and best‑practice alignment
Analyze discrepancies and recommend practical, well‑supported accounting solutions
Clearly document accounting positions and conclusions for internal and external use
Support Investor Relations with accurate financial data, investor presentations, and Board‑ready materials
Assist with quarterly earnings releases, supplements, and external presentations
Prepare quarterly financial packages and insights for senior leadership and the Board of Directors
Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors
Translate complex financial information into clear insights for non‑technical audiences

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
6+ years of experience with preparing and analyzing financial information
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Advanced knowledge in SEC reporting, GAAP, multi-company consolidations, Microsoft office products, Dfin and EDGAR software
Strong understanding of regulatory expectations unique to public or regulated entities
Experience in financial institutions or banking industry is a strong plus
