You enjoy working closely with external partners and clients to lead and deliver projects that modernize and transform their website to achieve business objectives
You are organized and proficient with managing a very large or complex project or program with multiple workstreams or a portfolio of projects in dynamic environment
You oversee the work of other Product Managers acting as an engagement leader responsible for overall success of client facing team delivery projects including finances, margin, and delivery of business objectives and scope
You are a big picture thinker focused on the clients strategic objectives and also detail oriented to be able to manage both the project delivery plans and product requirements
You manage, lead, and grow a multi-layered team of Product Delivery folks who report to you and lead projects with our global engineering team
You are adept at coaching and navigating through delivery challenges and addressing escalations with delivery teams
You foster a positive team environment and culture enabling others to grow and learn and drive Product Manager satisfaction and retention
You do whatever it takes to make your practice, products, and teams successful, whether that means writing a QA plan, partnering with a Product Manager to develop a delivery plan
You lead efforts to design and enhance delivery best practices and documentation, practice operations, and lead or drive Product Management Recruiting in partnership with a recruiter
You are focused on practice health and metrics such as billable utilization and project margin,and work on getting Product Managers staffed and billable
You are technical enough to facilitate technical discussions, meet with technical prospective clients in business development situations, or challenge Architects to identify solutions to technical problems
You are responsible for partnering with the sales team for business development activities including providing project management to sales pursuits, driving the creation of solutions and estimates, creating and presenting client facing proposals, and drafting statements of work
You lead less experienced team members on business development
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Agile Software development as a Project Leader, Product or Program Manager or Technical Leader of large (15+ people) or complex projects
Experience as an engagement leader overseeing large client project delivery workstreams ($1M+), owning executive client relationship, and having accountability for outcomes of an engagement
6+ years experience in client management for technical and/or digital product delivery engagements including creating and managing contracts, building relationships with Director+ clients, and leading teams through delivery and escalations
Expertise with coaching others in all phases of software development including product discovery, software delivery, testing, launch, and post-launch life cycles
Versed in Agile and Scrum activities and able to both execute and coach others in the activities of requirements gathering, creating and managing a backlog of priorities, and user story writing
Strong knowledge and experience in software delivery, methodologies, and associated tools: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Jira
Experience leading and driving product discovery efforts to define, decompose, and establish product definition. Ability to drive structure and establish plans with technical team to build product delivery plans
Experience gathering business and functional requirements with involved teams (including external partners) then managing prioritization throughout the process in iterative software development environments
Experience working with technical resources to estimate scope and creating accurate project timelines and resource estimates for project planning or proposals
A passion to deliver on-time and the personality to overcome any obstacle, associated to the ability to work individually or as part of a team
Strong problem solving skills
Hands-on experience with Web Analytics Tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tag Managers, etc)
Experience with formally coaching and managing product managers
Fluent spoken and written English language skills
Location: US, Mexico or Canada
100% remote with occasional travel
Preferred
Experience working with technical teams on modern web technology stacks such as React, Next.JS, JavaScript, and NodeJS
Experience with E-commerce businesses, platforms, and technology
Fundamentals in computer science, computer networking, network security, and/or software development
Certifications in Scrum / Agile / Product / Project management
