Responsibilities
Evaluate new investment opportunities through in-depth business analysis, detailed financial modeling, industry research, and by meeting with management teams
Assist in structuring and underwriting new investments
Prepare written analyses and present findings to the group’s investment committee
Monitor existing portfolio companies through ongoing financial review and management interaction
Assist with ad-hoc analyses and projects related to the Private Credit Group
Qualification
Required
Proficient in financial statement analysis
Ability to construct a three statement forecast model
Strong written and communication skills
Self-starters with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, multi-task environment
Evaluate new investment opportunities through in-depth business analysis, detailed financial modeling, industry research, and by meeting with management teams
Assist in structuring and underwriting new investments
Prepare written analyses and present findings to the group's investment committee
Monitor existing portfolio companies through ongoing financial review and management interaction
Assist with ad-hoc analyses and projects related to the Private Credit Group
Strong academic credentials
Bachelor's Degree from a top university; major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field preferred
1-3 years of work experience in investment banking, asset management, debt capital markets, private equity, restructuring, accounting or consulting
Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and modeling
Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office
Team player – effectively collaborates with others
Strong work ethic and self-motivated
Excellent organizational skills, with ability to handle a wide variety of responsibilities and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, and able to multi-task
Comfortable with public speaking
Ability to work independently
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of capital markets and corporate finance
