Responsibilities
Travel is required. Travel to the various branch locations or to off-site trainings will be necessary on a weekly basis
Supports leadership direction, development, and discipline of assigned personnel or by recommendation regarding branch personnel when sitting in for managers
Underwrites consumer loans per credit union policy; reviews and approves underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel
Monitors all branch operations department or branch assigned activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures
Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and insures that appropriate steps are taken to address unsatisfactory conditions
Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups. Participates in business development activities
Maintains communications with management; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings
Controls past due and charged off accounts for the branch
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three to five years of similar or related experience managing a financial center/credit union
Strong training and supervisory skills, compliance, leadership, written and verbal communication skills are required for this role
Travel is required
Preferred
A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing related to the role
