Responsibilities
Engineer replacement parts and assemblies using machine history, drawings, BOMs, and serial number records
Perform due diligence to ensure proper fit, function, materials, and suitability for customer applications
Support field service teams by preparing accurate parts packages prior to service visits
Provide technical support during service and troubleshooting activities
Review legacy and custom equipment designs to resolve incomplete or unclear documentation
Collaborate closely with Service, Engineering, Assembly, Purchasing, and Sales
Help improve parts documentation, service records, and long-term aftermarket support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
3–10 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or service engineering
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, assemblies, and BOMs
Experience with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to get hands-on when required
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and urgency
Occasional travel to customer sites (typically 10% or less)
