Installation Scheduling Coordinator

K&N Appliance Gallery, Houston's premier luxury appliance showroom since 1954, is seeking an Installation Scheduling Coordinator to assist in coordinating quality and efficiency in the installation process. The role involves overseeing and coordinating the scheduling logistics of all outbound shipments and installation jobs to and from the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute daily and weekly installation and delivery schedule
Collecting scheduling requests and scheduling jobs based on installer qualifications
Interpreting and coordinating scheduling requests and ensuring that all information needed is clearly communicated and shared across all stakeholders
Mapping daily installation and delivery routes
Manage outbound logistics, appointment times, schedule changes and unforeseen logistics issues
Regularly monitor status of all installations and deliveries, communicate all changes and additions as needed
Analyze, investigate, and provide contingency plans for solutions to logistical problems and issues throughout the scheduling calendar
Respond to phone and email requests from sales teams, customers, and other key stakeholders in the scheduling cycle
Coordinates with sales and accounting departments to ensure inventory and invoicing records are accurate
Responsible for interaction with customers and internal teams to ensure problems are resolved and positive relationships are maintained
As a member of the warehouse team, perform general warehouse duties as necessary – assist with picking and receiving as needed

Required

3-5 years of scheduling and/or distribution center experience a plus
Working knowledge of and experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Must have strong computer skills – Microsoft and CRM

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for long hours
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
