Responsibilities
Manage purchase orders to ensure they are processed promptly, guaranteeing that ongoing work at various sites continues without interruption
Identify, source, and vet new vendors and service providers who comply with Fluence’s quality and compliance standards, ensuring cost competitiveness
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop bid lists for upcoming projects, evaluate vendor proposals, and provide recommendations prior to contract awards
Oversee and manage contracts between Fluence and contractors, ensuring all legal and binding documents are executed and maintained appropriately
Develop sourcing strategies that facilitate the collection of competitive bids for both preventative and reactive maintenance in order to meet customer contract requirements
Monitor and report spend over designated periods, such as quarterly and annual intervals
Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies
Source and procure equipment and materials as required, including spare and replacement parts
Negotiate terms and conditions with both existing service providers and potential new partners
Work with stakeholders to develop and implement an efficient process for regional spare parts procurement
Qualification
Required
Experience with SAP software
Background in supplier sourcing initiatives
Purchasing experience within the renewables industry or supporting construction procurement
Contract negotiation experience with service providers
Approximately 5 years in a purchasing or supply chain role
