Director of Sales- Commercial Landscaping

Clients First Landscape Solutions is one of the fastest-growing commercial landscape companies in the South and East Coast markets. They are seeking a Director of Sales to take full ownership of the revenue engine, manage sales pipeline, and drive growth across multiple states.

Responsibilities

Own the entire revenue function of the company
Drive consistent, predictable, high-quality growth
Build and lead a sales culture driven by accountability, discipline, and results
You will lead the complete pipeline for:
Commercial landscape installation
Commercial landscape maintenance
Pool construction (select markets)
Enhancement and recurring work
You will manage all Business Developers (BDs) and ensure they execute at a high level across multiple markets
Own the full sales pipeline across Texas, Florida, Georgia, Carolinas etc
Lead and manage all Business Developers (DFW and future Florida/SE markets)
Hold BDs accountable for daily KPIs, sales activity, outreach targets, and revenue goals
Build discipline into CRM usage, forecasting, and weekly reporting
Drive strong weekly sales meetings with structure, clarity, and momentum
Hiring and Firing all sales positions
Sales to Operations hand off i.e. Contract & Scope of Work reviews with operations
Key client relationships
Oversee preconstruction coordination and estimating handoffs
Maintain accurate short-term and long-term forecasting
Identify pipeline gaps early and develop corrective strategies
Ensure each BD maintains a healthy event schedule (lunches, breakfasts, networking, property manager outreach)
Oversee all communications in bid emails and estimating ensuring responsiveness
Lead major presentations and proposals for large opportunities
Assist BDs in closing critical accounts and high-value contracts
Represent the company with professionalism and confidence in high-stakes environments
Contract negotiations with VPs of national and global construction firms
Develop growth strategies for new markets (Florida, Georgia, Carolinas)
Build scalable sales systems that work across multi-state operations
Partner with the CEO on acquisition integration, new market roll out and business development team build out
Deliver clean weekly and monthly revenue reports
Explain sales performance—good or bad—with clarity and accountability
Own revenue outcomes. When sales are down, you are responsible for diagnosing and correcting the issue

Required

Proven sales leader in commercial services, construction trades, landscaping, or construction industries
Experienced managing multiple BDs, territories, and diverse project types
Highly organized, process-driven, and obsessed with pipeline clarity
Strong presenter who thrives in front of executives, property managers, and general contractors
Confident, disciplined, competitive, and capable of scaling a team from one market to several
Must be willing to Travel to all markets in Texas and Florida + East Coast
Someone presentable, charismatic and energetic
You will need to have commercial construction knowledge
