Production Supervisor

Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and direction to the production team
Foster a fair, objective, and collaborative work environment that promotes high‑quality output
Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff while supporting performance management, quality initiatives, and process improvements
Serve as the primary CI champion on the production floor, driving a culture of daily improvement and accountability
Partner with Process Development and Industrial Engineering to design and optimize production lines to meet internal and customer expectations
Build and reinforce a culture focused on exceeding expectations, continuous improvement, and a commitment to quality
Develop training materials and standardized processes for assemblers; provide the tools, guidance, and training needed for successful performance
Establish and maintain best practices to ensure products move efficiently and effectively through the production process
Ensure compliance with Production Controls, Quality procedures, cGMP, regulatory standards, and all established safety guidelines
Track, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds expectations for the organization and its customers
Measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPI) related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity, and use data insights to prioritize improvements
Facilitate and implement lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping, standard work, visual management, and workflow optimization
Lead structured problem‑solving activities (A3, 5 Whys, fishbone, DMAIC) to eliminate root causes and strengthen process capability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Manufacturing, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a high‑technology electronics manufacturing environment; medical device experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to guide, mentor, and develop manufacturing staff, supporting their professional growth and daily accomplishments
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety practices, and compliance expectations
Familiarity with world‑class manufacturing principles such as lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen
Proven experience collaborating across functional areas and management levels to resolve operational challenges and develop strategic improvements
