Responsibilities
Installs, maintains, and repairs facility equipment and systems, including but not limited to packing and line machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, air compressors, plumbing and HVAC systems, etc
Supports the production department with proper machine operation, troubleshooting, and changeover activities
Follows all safety and SOP regulations and procedures, including Mustad Performance Systems (MPS)
Assists in solving breakdowns with records and maintaining sufficient and cost-effective inventories of parts and supplies
Ensures all hazardous materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled properly and that all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are maintained and updated as required
Provides documentation as needed, including data entry into PM software and all documents related to TPM (MPS)
Performs preventative maintenance on an established schedule, including testing on energized electrical equipment. Works according to TPM standards (MPS)
Performs other duties as requested by management
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Training and/or certification in electrical, mechanical, or another related field with basic knowledge in PLC and robotics
5+ years of general maintenance experience, including troubleshooting and correcting problems with mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pumps and motors, control circuits, and power supply, may be considered in lieu of formal training
Demonstrated skills in operating hand and power tools
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills and blueprint and schematic interpretation
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English verbal and written instructions
Computer and MS Office. CMMS software (maintenance software M pulse)
Preferred
Advanced PLC programming and robotics skills
