Integraded Media Consultant

KVIA-TV is seeking a highly motivated Integrated Media Consultant (IMC) to join their team. The IMC is responsible for overseeing Internet and mobile campaigns, supporting broadcast sales executives, and generating new business opportunities while maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

Prospecting and lead generation – identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach
Develop, manage and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales volume and expand product/service offerings
Develop local web rate cards and web media kits
Assist the GM/DOS/LSM/Sales team achieve local digital revenue goals along with consistent year-over-year growth
Conduct needs assessments to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
Aggressively pursue new business through cold calling, prospecting, and networking
Negotiate prices and prepare contracts and terms with customers to close deals
Create multi-platform sales packages
Tandem sales calls on their own and with broadcast sales executives
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Work with an experienced team of account executives to represent our stations and develop new accounts
Organize information into oral and written presentation forms for client sales
Timely completion of internal paperwork, including weekly sales planners and any other reports requested
Provide digital Sales training for broadcast staff
Monitor and maintain local inventory, traffic and competitive analysis and presentations
Work with third party digital services and Corporate Data Manager in the development and implementation of monthly contests to increase our data banks and meet or exceed revenue goals
Meet and work with digital partners to develop new revenue-generating initiatives
Attending sales meetings and any required training
Collaborate with news and promotions department on station initiatives

Required

Valid driver's license and current insurance coverage
Sufficient mobility for traveling to clients' places of business

Preferred

Education – college degree preferred
Consultative sales experience is preferred but not required
Knowledge of broadcast and digital media including but not limited to advertising rates, programming, ComScore/Nielsen ratings and market competition
Excellent verbal, written, computer and communication skills
Highly motivated and extremely well organized
Professional demeanor and attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software (WOMS, Strata, Share-Builders)
Strong local market knowledge and contacts
Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills
Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
Knowledge of community events and involvements
