Responsibilities
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations and accruals
Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Prepare financial reports and schedules as needed
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
Identify and help implement process improvements within accounting operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (public or private)
Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial close
High attention to detail and strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience with month-end close in a fast-paced environment
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
Onsite presence in Dallas, TX (DFW area) required
Preferred
Experience in accounting software and ERP systems (Netsuite)
CPA or CPA-eligible
