Responsibilities
Plan and design bridge structures to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks with precision and efficiency
Develop engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, cost estimates, surveys, and designs
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and junior Engineers working on the same project
Serve as a lead engineer for specific disciplines on small to intermediate-sized projects or contribute as part of a larger project team
Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative problem-solving, and delivering superior results
Build and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required
5+ years of experience in highway/roadway engineering design is required
Professional Engineering (PE) license and other relevant certifications may be required
Proficiency in CAD and other engineering bridge design and analysis software tools is essential
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Master's degree in Structural Engineering is strongly preferred
