ADA Testing Coordinator
Chapman University School of Pharmacy is dedicated to providing quality education and services, and they are seeking an ADA Testing Coordinator. This role involves coordinating accommodated testing and notetaking services to ensure compliance with ADA/504 accommodations while managing exam scheduling, proctoring, and records.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and proctor accommodated exams using an accommodations management system; schedule exams, reserve testing spaces, monitor test takers, maintain accurate records and statistics, and ensure exam security and confidentiality
Coordinate and maintain the student notetaking service, including communication with students and note-takers and monitoring service effectiveness
Serve as backup support for other Disability Services office functions as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three years of professional support experience, with at least one year in testing coordination, disability services, student services, or a related higher education environment
Technical skills to learn and use enterprise systems required for this position
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and the ability to learn accommodation management systems (Accommodate Software)
Strong time management skills, with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform in a timely and efficient manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact diplomatically with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels
Strong writing skills to prepare clear, concise & grammatically correct correspondence
Professional demeanor and the ability to work with other departments
An ethical commitment to the confidentiality of sensitive documents
Ability and diplomacy skills to consult with students and faculty regarding educational and security issues associated with testing
Working knowledge of ADA, Section 504, and Section 508 regulations related to academic accommodations
Attention to detail
Sensitivity of working with students from diverse backgrounds and academic standing
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, Special Education, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Master's degree in a related field preferred, not required; relevant professional experience in disability services or testing coordination may be substituted
Professional experience at a higher education institution in working with individuals with disabilities including facilitating accommodations and experience working with assistive technology
