Responsibilities
Act as Project Manager on multiple IT projects
Assist with developing business requirements
Build project plans and execute to those plans
Manage project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
Ensure deliverables and activities are completed with high quality and timeliness
Report project status and strategies orally and in writing
Compile and manage project documentation, metrics, and reports
Interact with staff, management, internal teams, and external vendors
Manage multiple high-profile, high-priority projects concurrently
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
3–5+ years of experience in Project Management
1–3+ years of project management experience in a healthcare insurance IT environment
Project planning experience including effort estimation and resource allocation
Preferred
Experience with Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems
Experience with SharePoint and project management tools (MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access)
Experience with risk management and risk triggers
Ability to create and document project management artifacts
Superb written and oral communication skills
Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and manage competing priorities
