Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships that support GD4A and other government/industry customers to drive strategic growth
Leverage established GD4A customer relationships to advance business opportunities aligned with York’s space solutions
Engage in industry day events, local activities, and customer visits
Identify high-value market, government budgets, and customer opportunities through market and competitive analysis
Provide recommendations and present business development opportunities to pursue
Provide regular updates to guide team strategy and manage the sales pipeline
Collaborate with functional leadership (e.g., CTO, LT, Contracts) to align York offerings with GD4A customer needs
Develop innovative capture strategies to secure new business; provide the team with win themes for proposals and white papers
Willing to travel as needed to visit GD4A customers and attend industry events on a regular basis
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in the space domain and solid technical understanding of space platforms; clear understanding of missile defense systems
Established network of customer relationships that support the GD4A architecture, particularly with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Space Systems Command (SSC), and other related government entities
Excellent business / strategic acumen and instinct
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and workloads
Excellent presentation and customer-facing skills
