Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership, supervision, mentoring, and professional development to all direct reports
Promote a person-centered philosophy that values individual choice, self-advocacy, and active participation
Oversee program planning, service delivery, and documentation to ensure compliance with agency policies, funding requirements, and all applicable state and federal regulations
Collaborate with internal departments, families, guardians, and community partners to enhance program effectiveness and expand opportunities for participants
Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions
Support the development and implementation of individualized goals, curricula, and activities that promote learning and engagement
Provide administrative oversight, including budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and data tracking in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
Ensure delivery and/or coordination of all Community Day Services are in compliance with DHS Rule 119 and 120, agency mission, agency policy and procedure, program guidelines and best practice
Provide leadership to day program services that person-centered activities and curriculum- based programs are scheduled, organized, and implemented across all day service programming
Assist with the intake process for screening and program placement for CDS programs
Responsible for overseeing operations across multiple program locations
Effectively carry out other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Minimum of two years' supervisory/administrative experience
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Knowledge of and experience in working with regulatory agencies and funding sources, including the application of Rule 119, BQM, and BALC standards
Valid Driver's license
