Responsibilities
Lead development of Vantiq applications serving as the Senior Engineer (player-coach)
Coach and manage off-shore software engineers
Strive to make customers and partners successful through a combination of solution design, AI expertise, and consultative approach to enablement
Continue to learn and train on product lines and continuously update knowledge of new products. Identify customers' needs and provide the 'best' or 'total' solution from a wide range of products and services
Startup attitude. You have a positive, can-do attitude and will “roll up your sleeve” and do what it takes
Participate in sales meetings, product demonstrations and trade shows as appropriate
Thrive in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
Must have the ability to multi-task
Strong written and verbal communication is critical to this position
Deliver training for channel partners and customers
Provide feedback to platform product management and marketing organizations on customer needs and issues
Qualification
Required
Experience managing successful software product roadmaps and vision
Experience developing commercial products or applications utilizing AI Agents
Experiencing collaborating with and managing offshore software engineers
Understanding of Generative AI principals, including prompt engineering and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) utilizing semantic indexes
Ability to understand, read, or write code in JavaScript / SQL
Knowledge of databases including: SQL Databases, MongoDB, and timeseries databases

Candidates should possess a Master's degree in computer science or have experience commensurate with this position (10+ years in industry)

Operating systems including Linux, Windows
Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and products
Experience with Cloud Platforms: AWS, Google, Azure
Application integration with ERP, EAI, CRM vendor products
