Senior Paralegal – Real Estate
Crew Connectors is a leading global law firm seeking a Senior Paralegal to join its Real Estate Practice Group. The role involves supporting attorneys on complex commercial real estate transactions, requiring precision and initiative in managing detailed documentation throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Deliver work efficiently and cost-effectively to ensure billable contributions align with firm standards
Meet an annual billable hours target of 1,725 hours (unless otherwise agreed)
Examine and summarize title commitments and related documentation; flag significant issues such as encumbrances, liens, easements, or other exceptions for attorney review
Liaise with title insurers to coordinate issuance of commitments, proformas, and final policies (both owner and lender)
Draft title objection letters and assist in resolving title and survey issues
Order, track, and review ALTA/NSPS land title surveys; confirm alignment with applicable standards and project requirements
Analyze surveys to identify encroachments, easements, access points, and other site-specific elements
Review and verify legal descriptions used in real estate documents to ensure accuracy and consistency across all title and survey materials
Work directly with surveyors and title officers to address discrepancies or errors in legal descriptions
Extract and summarize key terms from property documents such as leases, easements, declarations, and REAs
Maintain organized due diligence files and manage digital repositories related to real estate transactions
Communicate with external parties, including title companies and surveyors, to resolve issues and obtain documentation
Assist with compiling attorney-facing and client-facing reports, including title, survey, and zoning analysis summaries
Support closings by assembling, finalizing, and distributing transactional documents; coordinate execution of signature pages and maintain checklists
Order and review lien, litigation, and UCC searches as well as corporate formation and standing documents
Draft and file UCC financing statements
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed to support deal flow and logistics
Provide mentorship or direction to more junior paralegals or support staff
Collaborate across departments to streamline procedures and promote cross-functional alignment
Willingness to work overtime and travel, as needed
Take on other projects and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial real estate law and paralegal work
Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with legal document editing and comparison tools
Familiarity with timekeeping and expense management platforms
Strong understanding of legal billing procedures
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
