Interos.ai is defining the category of supply chain risk intelligence, building the world’s most trusted and transparent supply chains. They are seeking an experienced VP of Sales, Federal and A&D to lead their sales organization during a pivotal period of expansion, focusing on Federal and A&D market penetration and team management.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Federal and A&D sales organization, owning revenue performance, quota attainment, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy
Develop detailed account strategies across targeted Federal agencies, defense organizations, and critical infrastructure entities
Cultivate strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, procurement officials, and Federal mission owners
Engage actively in opportunities, supporting deal strategy, proposal development, competitive positioning, pricing, and complex negotiation
Drive strategic pursuit of net-new opportunities across DoD, IC, Civilian, and A&D markets
Operationalize modern enterprise sales methodologies inside Federal environments, including structured qualification, discovery, and close planning
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Solutions Consulting, Product, and Customer Success to align GTM execution and mission outcomes
Recruit, develop, and motivate high-performing public sector sellers as the business scales
Serve as a senior Federal sales voice internally, bringing market intelligence, evolving Federal requirements, and competitive insights to leadership discussions
Represent Interos in Federal market conversations, including industry forums, defense events, and mission-oriented working groups
Qualification
Required
10+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with 5+ years leading Federal or A&D sales teams
Proven track record of quota attainment through long-cycle, complex, and multi-stakeholder sales processes
Experience selling into DoD, IC, and Civilian agencies with credibility engaging senior decision-makers and mission owners
Ability to coach sellers on deal strategy, objection handling, competitive positioning, and structured qualification frameworks
Strong operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline discipline, CRM hygiene, and performance management
Comfort operating in an evolving, fast-paced environment with high strategic and tactical expectations
Strong executive presence with highly developed communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Domain knowledge of SaaS, cyber, risk, supply chain, or enterprise data platforms
Embodies a hungry, humble, and smart mindset; always learning, collaborating, and executing
