Responsibilities
Deal Origination: Source and develop new investment opportunities across renewable energy projects by engaging developers, IPPs, infrastructure funds, and other stakeholders through cold outreach, networking, conferences, and market research
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with project owners/developers and cultivate close ties with companies, banks, institutional investors, and tax credit buyers to facilitate deal flow, joint ventures etc
Deal Execution: Support transaction negotiations, due diligence, financial modeling and closing of transactions - collaborating with legal, investment, and technical teams
Team Support: Assist in developing investment proposals, conducting research, and contributing to investment committee reports
Industry Representation: Represent the firm at policy forums, conferences, and events to enhance visibility and source partnerships
Qualification
Required
At least 2-4+ years of relevant experience in sales/business development, private equity, investment banking, or renewable energy finance, with a focus on deal origination and relationship management
Proven track-record of building client relationships and closing transactions
Hungry, entrepreneurial mindset with deep interest in renewable energy, decarbonization, and sustainable infrastructure
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a confident, outward-facing presence
Strong analytical abilities, including intermediate financial modeling, market research, and valuation
