Responsibilities

Own the engineering delivery of the OpenText Cloud Platform (OCP) as the shared SaaS foundation across the OpenText portfolio
Build and maintain core platform capabilities that enable consistent customer, administrative, and operational experiences across products
Establish clear platform standards, reference architectures, and shared services that simplify product onboarding and drive broad adoption
Embed security, compliance, reliability, and governance directly into the platform to ensure enterprise-grade operations by default
Lead DevSecOps and SRE practices to deliver high availability, resiliency, observability, and incident response at scale
Enable and operate OCP across multiple cloud environments, ensuring portability, performance, and cost efficiency
Improve delivery speed and operational efficiency through automation, standardization, and engineering discipline
Design and evolve platform interfaces (APIs, events, integrations) that support internal teams, partners, and ecosystem expansion
Partner closely with Architecture, Product Management, Operations, and Business Units to align platform capabilities with business priorities
Build, lead, and retain high-performing global engineering teams with a strong culture of ownership and accountability

Required

15+ years of experience in enterprise software and cloud platform engineering
Demonstrated success building and operating large-scale SaaS platforms used by multiple product teams
Deep understanding of Agentic AI development practices, with hands-on experience in leveraging AI systems to accelerate design, development, testing, and operations
Ability to thoughtfully integrate AI-driven development practices into enterprise engineering environments with appropriate guardrails, governance, and quality controls
Deep expertise in cloud-native and distributed systems across modern multi-cloud environments
Strong operational background in DevSecOps, SRE, security, and compliance for enterprise platforms
Proven ability to define platform standards and drive adoption in a federated engineering organization
Experience delivering reliable, secure, and cost-efficient services at enterprise scale
Track record of leading and scaling global engineering organizations
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional stakeholders
